What is Baito?

Baito is a work schedule and pay tracking app designed for part-time workers. It helps you track shifts, calculate earnings, and manage multiple jobs in one organized place.

How do I use the AI Quick Import feature?

Go to the calendar/list page, click on Add, then on the Add Shift Page click the Quick Import Button at the top, take a screenshot of your work schedule, and upload it. Baito Pro will extract all your shifts automatically.

Is the AI feature free?

No, AI Quick Import is a paid feature available under Baito Pro.

Why do I need to log in?

Logging in allows Baito to securely store your jobs and shifts in the cloud and keep your data persistent.

Can I add multiple jobs?

Yes! You can add multiple jobs and assign shifts to each one individually.

Can I track income per shift?

Yes. Baito shows estimated earnings per shift and for the entire month based on your hourly wage and hours worked.

Does Baito calculate taxes?

No. The income shown is your gross pay (before deductions like taxes or CPP).

Can I filter shifts by week or month?

Yes. You can filter your shift list by week or month to see earnings for specific time periods.

What if my schedule changes?

You can edit or delete any shift manually. AI-imported shifts can also be adjusted after import.

Does Baito work offline?

No, Baito currently requires an internet connection and login to access your data.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet! We're focusing on improving the iOS version first.

Is there a web version of Baito?

A limited web version exists but isn't connected to the iOS app yet. For now, we recommend using the iOS app for the full experience.

Does Baito work for multiple jobs?

Absolutely! Baito is designed to help you manage multiple part-time jobs. Each job can have its own hourly rate, color code, and shift tracking.

Known Limitations

- AI import may not work with handwritten or blurry screenshots

- Sync across devices is not yet available

- Breaks are calculated based on Canadian law (30 minutes unpaid after 5 hours)

- Shifts that overlap days (e.g. night shifts) may not be calculated accurately

- Multiple shifts on the same day are not yet fully supported
